Last week I was telling you all about pink pizza dough so naturally this week I’m showing you what I did with it.
I went with a pretty simple combination here : beets, spinach and lots of cheese. So satisfying, vegetarian and easy to make! Perfect week night dinner combo, right?
You can adjust the toppings to fit your pantry/fridge and that is what is amazing about pizza. Endless possibilities. I made another one with bacon/mushroom/cheese toppings and it was also A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Pink beets and cheese pizza :
- 1 pink pizza dough
- 1 small cooked red beetroot
- 1 small cooked yellow beetroot
- 1 ball mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- Fresh goat cheese
- A few fresh spinach
- Salt and pepper
Preheat your oven at 180°C (356°F).
Roll out the dough and spread with sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
Display beets, spinach and mozzarella on the dough. Add fresh goat cheese on top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges of the pizza dough are golden and crispy.
