Decadent chocolate cake

Nothing screams Fall harder to me than an ooey gooey chocolate cake. So comforting. Calories bomb : yes BUT so good for your soul. I mean… So good it’s almost healthy.

This recipe is an absolute must for 2 reasons : 1) you can have an ooey gooey deliciousness in no time. 2) If you forget it a few minutes in the oven you get a delicious fudgy chocolate cake.

Creamy, riche, delicious. Everything I work for. With a little whipped cream it is perfect. Add a scoop (or two) of vanilla ice cream if you feel it, I didn’t have any but certainly would have.

Decadent chocolate cake (6 cakes) :

  • 100g butter
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 30g flour
  • 40g sugar
  • 40g brown sugar
  • Salt

Preheat the oven at 200°C/395°F.

Melt the chocolate and butter together slowly.

Meanwhile, whip the eggs and sugars in a bowl. Add flour and mix until smooth.

Add the butter/chocolate mix and stir energetically. Add a good pinch of salt.

Grease a muffin tin and fill to 3/4.

Bake for 8-9 minutes for ooey gooey or 10-12 minutes for fudgy cakes.

Eat still warm!

I love how your chocolate cake looks so moist and so decadent. Can’t wait to try this out. Hopefully mine will turn out half as good as yours. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
