Sea food pasta

Sea food pasta

Here is yet again a very simple recipe to make, it has a very big WOW factor, which is always good. I went the easy way by using frozen sea food mix but you could use fresh if you prefer, it’ll just be a little longer to cook!

Garlic + parsley + lemon : can’t go wrong with these 3. Ready in 20-25 minutes, it is perfect for a week night dinner when you feel like eating a fancier meal than usual. I really loved this recipe and will definitely make it again!

Sea food pasta (serves 4) :

  • 400g spaghetti (uncooked)
  • 250g frozen sea food mix
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 15g butter
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Cook the pasta al dente according to the packet instruction. Set aside about 15cl of the cooking liquid when you drain it.

Finely chopped the onion and grate the garlic.

Chop the parsley.

In a deep pan, add the butter and sauté the onion for 3-4 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 2 more minutes.

Without thawing it, add the sea food mix, cooking pasta liquid and cover with a lid. Let it cook for 10 minutes.

Add the lemon juice, parsley and spaghetti. Mix well. Let it cook uncovered for 2-3 minutes, until the pasta is heated all the way through.

Serve with a generous grating of parmesan cheese on top!
