Chocolate muffins

Chocolate muffins

I set a goal for our little family of three, I would like to stop buying processed food for our breakfasts (such as cereals or cakes…). I am far away from there at the moment but I am experimenting with recipes to get closer to that.

You make 10 muffins out of the batch so for us 3 (baby eats a little bit of mine, not a whole), it gives us 5 breakfasts. Bonus points : it is cheap, you know what you eat and it is yummy.

I am sorry for the quality/setting of the photos, sometimes taking picture of your food with a baby running wild can be quite difficult…

Muffins au chocolat (10 muffins) :

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 125g butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp dried yeast

Preheat your oven at 180°C (356°F).

Melt butter and chocolate in a pan. Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the melted mix of butter and chocolate. Mix very well. Add flour tablespoon after tablespoon and mix well between each one. Add dried yeast and mix.

Grease your muffins tins (or a cake tin) and bake for 20 minutes.
