Desserts and I have a love-hate relationship. I mean, I love desserts : chocolate, cheesecakes, cakes…etc I love it. BUT if I have to choose I’ll always have a savory snack instead. Because cheese, meat, eggs are my things! So I decided to try and eat more desserts (it is a thing you know) but it has to be quick, easy and delicious, of course. And because it is important to eat in season : let’s get into summer fruits.

Nectarines and raspberries are everywhere, so we better enjoy it before it is gone. Choose ripe nectarines so it is not too sour when you pair it with raspberries.

Raspberries and nectarines crumble (4 servings)

  • 80g butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 150g flour
  • 4 nectarines
  • 2 handfuls raspberries

Preheat your oven at 150°C (300°F).

Mix the flour and sugar in a bowl. Add cold butter cut in cubes. Crumble the dough between your fingers until it is like sand.

Cut (and peel if you wish) the nectarines. Place them at the bottom of the moulds. Add the raspberries on top and the crumble dough.

Bake for 30 minutes then 15 minutes under the grill so it’s golden brown.

Serve warm!
