Maple syrup pork meatballs

Maple syrup pork meatballs

I don’t really do meatballs very often but these ones are really stealing the show! Maple syrup pork meatballs, yes, you heard that right. If you could only smell the delicious scents of my kitchen right now…

Maple syrup gives it a caramelized flavor and that delicious characteristic maple taste, thyme brings freshness to all that greasy goodness. It is really THAT good!

I love meatballs when it is crunchy on the outside so I fried mine for quite a bit more time. It adds texture! We had it with rice and vegetables, it’s easy and practical for weeknight dinners. I think it is going to become a staple meal in our home! I might make a batch tomorrow to freeze… Yummy.
