Oh and if you like decadent cookie recipes, I got one here for bretzel and oozing caramel hearts cookies. Anyways, cookies are the perfect fall treats in my opinion. Easy to make, you also get all warmed up by the oven running and you eat cookies. What’s not to love?

I make big batches and keep in an airtight container for 4-5 days so I can enjoy it throughout the week without having to bake them every time.

Chocolate and hazelnuts cookies (15 cookies) :

  • 115g butter
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 75g white sugar
  • 180g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50g chocolate chips
  • 50g hazelnuts
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preheat the oven at 150°C/300°F.

Mix the soften butter with both types of sugar. Once well mixed, add the egg and salt. Mix thoroughly until combined.

Add the flour, chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts. With a spatula, fold the ingredients slightly until the flour is well incorporated.

Shape the cookies (about 40g) and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 150°C/300°F.

Let it cool before devouring!
