Hibiscus iced tea

Hibiscus iced tea

Spring is here, so here I am making a simple refreshing hibiscus drink! An herbal tea that is iced, slightly sweetened and brought to life with lime, a delicious concoction if you ask me.

I love making big batches of these kind of drinks when it gets hotter, it makes me drink more water and it is very good!

If you prefer cocktail, I got you covered with this mango mojito.

Hibiscus iced tea:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 15g (1/4 cup) dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1/2 lime
  • 2-3 tbsp honey

Heat the water up to 90°C then turn off the heat.

Add the hibiscus flowers, cover with a lid and let it steep for 20 minutes.

Take the flowers out, add honey. Mix well and let it cool.

When it is cooled, add the lime juice and refrigerate.

Add a ton of ice before serving!
