Creamy tuna dip
What a better start for this blog than a recipe that you can share, because I want this blog to become a place where sharing is the golden rule.
This is one of my mom’s recipe, I remember that she was preparing it when I was still a toddler. The big advantages of this recipe is that it is quick and easy to make, cheap and very refreshing, ideal for Spring.
This dip can be prepared the night before you want to eat it, because it’s so much better if you let it sit in the fridge for a night. I eat it with french bread or tortilla chips.
Creamy tuna dip (serve 4) :
- 1 can of tuna
- 1/2 a lemon
- 3 tbsp creme fraiche
- 1 granny apple
- 1 oignon
- chives
- Salt & pepper
Drain the tuna. Meanwhile, grate the oignon and the peeled apple in a mixing bowl. (You can do it with a food processor). I grate it quite thick to have a little bit of a crunch.
Put the juice of 1/2 a lemon on the oignon/apple mixture so that it won’t turn brown.
Add the tuna to the bowl. To avoid big chunks of tuna, crush it with a fork. Add creme fraiche, salt and pepper to taste and it’s done !
