Apple chicken

This is a recipe I made quite a time ago but I’m very late in my updates so here it is ! It’s an ideal recipe for summer nights because it is light, sweet and salty.

You can use apples you have kept for a little bit too long and are not that fresh anymore. I chose chicken but I think it’ll be great with pork tenderloin too. I served it with pasta, yummy.

Apple chicken (serves 2) :

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 apples
  • 1 onion
  • chives
  • some lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper

Preheat your oven at 180°C (356°F).

Mince your onion and cut your apples in little pieces, coat it with lemon juice so that it won’t brown.

In  an oven-safe plate, put your onion, apples and chicken. Add a tiny little bit of water in the plate. Put chives on chicken and put in the oven for 25 minutes or until chicken is perfectly cooked.
