Spaghetti with capers and green olives tomato sauce

This is the vegan recipe for March (I procrastinated it until last minute). It is a simple pasta dish but the sauce is everything here, delicious, flavorful and rich.
I don’t really like capers but here, the flavor is not too tough and it goes really well with everything else. I bought a basil marinara sauce but you can use plain marinara sauce if you have that on hand, no big deal.
It is a perfect combo for a simple dinner, you cook the pasta while the sauce is simmering and it’s all done in no time.
Spaghetti with capers and green olives tomato sauce (serves 2-3) :
- 200g pasta
- 400ml marinara sauce (with basil for me)
- 100g green olives
- 20g capers
- 2 garlic cloves
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Cook your pasta.
Mince the garlic and sauté it in a pan with olive oil. Add the marinara sauce, coarsely chopped green olives, minced capers. Season to taste and simmer it for 15 minutes.
Serve with pasta and add a little bit of parmesan.
