Pancakes
I made a big brunch for my husband and I last sunday and I was craving pancakes ! Our brunch was composed of : fresh grapes, pears, scrambled egg with ham, grilled cheese, toasts and fresh cheese to spread on the toasts. A serious business brunch I’d say.
These pancakes are tiny because I love having tons of pancakes to eat ! If you make them the size I did you’ll have around 20 pancakes.
As this recipe is not too sweet, you can serve it with bacon or any savory toppings.
Pancakes (about 8 big) :
- 150g flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast
- 30g sugar
- 15cl milk
- 1 pinch of salt
In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, salt and yeast. Then add the sugar.
In an other bowl, whisk the milk and egg together. Then pour it a little by little in the flour mixture to avoid lumps.
You can let the batter stand at room temperature for a couple of hours but if you don’t, it’s no big deal. I did it the minute before making the pancakes and it was still delicious.
Heat a pan with a little bit of oil in it and cook the pancakes ! Allow to cook about 3 minutes on each side.
