Very crispy baked chicken wings

Very crispy baked chicken wings

A very simple recipe today for people who, like me, hate frying things at home. I am scared of oil frying and do it as less as I can. You still get nice crispy chicken wings by using baking powder (not baking soda, let's be clear). It doesn't have any effect on the taste of the wings but it really helps drying out the skin to make the crispiest baked wings.

Serve it with your favorite hot (or not) sauce for a quick dinner or a crispy appetizer!

Very crispy baked chicken wings :

  • 1kg chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Salt and pepper

Preheat the oven at 250°C/450°F.

Pat the wings with paper towel to dry it out.

Put the wings in big bowl with baking powder.

Salt and pepper generously.

Mix with your hands until all wings are well coated in baking powder.

Lay the wings on a parchment paper covered baking sheet.

Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Enjoy!
