Gorgonzola and smoked ham quiche
Posted 25 August, 2014 in Warm starters, Starters, Meat, Main, Recipes.

For dinner, a quiche is really convenient. You serve it with a salad and bam, dinner is ready in a few minutes (without baking time obviously). There was leftovers so we ate it again on lunch the next day, wonderful.
I bought gorgonzola to make a sauce but it ended up in a quiche with smoked ham of the black forest (which is our #1 smoked ham at the moment). So good and very light.
Gorgonzola and smoked ham quiche (serves 4-6) :
- 1 puff pastry
- 300g gorgonzola
- 200g smoked ham (or regular)
- 3 eggs
- 30cl creme fraîche
- Pepper
Preheat your oven at 180°C (350°F).
Cut the cheese and the ham in littles cubes. In a bowl, mix the eggs with pepper and creme fraiche.
Put the pastry in a pie plate and make holes in it with a fork.
Put the cheese and ham evenly on the pastry. Pour the mixture of the mixing bowl and put in the oven for 40 minutes. Done !
