Summer skewers : mozzarella, prosciutto and melon
I spent almost 8 years in Charentes (the french region where we grow charentais melon) and I got used pretty quickly to eating 1 melon a day for the entire summer! I like it on its own but also with mozzarella and prosciutto. I made appetizers skewers, it’s fun and quick to make.
You could replace the mozzarella by emmenthal or comté! I love summer small and colorful bites we enjoy before our meals! Do you like these kind of « idea » post? Or do you prefer the real deal recipes? Tell me in the comments!
Summer skewers : mozzarella, prosciutto and melon (10 skewers) :
- 10 bamboo skewers
- 1/4 charentais melon
- 4 thin slices of prosciutto
- 10 mozzarella balls
Cube the melon thick enough so it won’t break when skewered.
Cut the prosciutto slices in 3 pieces.
Skewer all your ingredients on the bamboo skewers.
