Traditional hummus

I already have a tahini free hummus recipe on the blog, but this one is way more traditional. You get a deliciously creamy and slightly tangy hummus that is perfect to slather on those flatbreads to make wraps! Oh and here is the link of the how-to make tahini at home if needed.
Traditional hummus :
- 400g cooked chickpeas
- 1 garlic clove
- Juice of half a lemon
- 3 tbsp tahini
- Olive oil
- Salt
This step is optional but I’d really recommend you do it for a creamier hummus : peel the chickpeas by pinching it between your fingers.
In a powerful blender or food processor, add the peeled chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, salt and peeled garlic clove. Blend until creamy, scrape down the edges a few times if needed.
Pour in a bowl and drizzle with good quality olive oil before serving.
