Green olives spread

In France, we call that spread tapenade, it's delicious! I usually make a big jar of it at the beginning of the week to snack on or to serve as an appetizer. Cheap and simple, what's not to love?

You can take it everywhere with you, it's an added bonus : picnic, in the car... It's the perfect snack with good crunchy bread or even bread sticks. My daughter who's not really into black olives tapenade loves this one!

It takes 2 minutes to make and it's worth it! Last minute guest? Blow their mind with a jar of green olives and a few add-ons. Blend, serve, I love it.

Green olives spread (serves 3-4) :

  • 150g green olives
  • 5 anchovies
  • 1 big garlic cloves
  • 12-15 small capers
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Mix all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Serve with toasted bread.

You can keep it up to 5 days in a sealed jar in the fridge.
