Peach cobbler

Peach cobbler

We have to make the most of the peaches before they're gone for good! This delicious dessert here is a peach cobbler. I know there are a few types of cobbler out there, some are more like a fruit crumbles, some more like cakes. Either ways are delicious and no special skills needed.

I made individual portions because it's extra cute but you could also put it in a baking dish. I usually use 1,5 peach per person. It's also great with other fruits!

Peach cobbler (serves 3 ) :

  • 5 peaches
  • 55g (1/4 cup) melted butter
  • 100g (1/2 cup) flour
  • 80g (3/4 cup) sugar
  • 60ml (5 tbsp) milk
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Cinnamon to taste

Preheat the oven at 350°F/180°C.

Wash the peaches and slice it thinly.

Put the peaches in 3 individual baking dishes, add cinnamon to taste.

In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

Add egg, milk and melted butter. Mix well.

Spoon the mixture into the 3 dishes on top of the peaches.

Bake for 35 minutes.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
