Chocolate layer cake + two chocolates frosting

There is always a good reason to bake a chocolate cake, at least I always find one. But this one, I had it in mind for quite a period of time but I was scared to try it! Never tried layered cake before, I do prefer savory food and I’m not the best at baking : all of this reasons are wrong. It was THE BEST cake! It is pretty simple to make and doesn’t require a ton of baking utensils. The cake is not very sweet so when paired with the chocolaty frosting, it is perfectly balanced. I may or may n

Mango mojito

Summer = cocktails for me. Last year, I was breastfeeding and didn’t drink a single mojito. My daughter is now weaned and I take advantage of it. Mojitos are so easy to make, I love it. It is really expensive when you drink it in a bar sooooooo, do it yourself!

Apricots clafoutis

You can replace the apricots with whatever floats your boat : cherries, apples, plums…etc or even put some rosema

Gorgonzola and bacon potato gratin

It’s 38°C outside but I feel like eating a tartiflette. Tartiflette is a french dish : potatoes, bacon, sour cream, reblochon (french cheese) layered in a dish and baked. Yumminess. But the struggle was real, no reblochon in my fridge. So I tried to make do with what I had and I had gorgonzola.

Baked caprese chicken

This recipe is so summery! Summer means 3 things for me : sun, long nights AND good fresh vegetables/herbs. It’s an ideal recipe for when you have guests : it’s chic, doesn’t require a lot of prepping and bake for 30-45 minutes.
