Muhammara, roasted red pepper dip

Muhammara is a roasted rep pepper and walnut dip, often found in Turkey. It can be found blended until smooth or into a chunkier version. You do you. Add a few spices, lots of garlic and you have a delicious dip.

Gochujang braised nappa cabbage

So here is a spicy side ideae ! Braised nappa cabbage, marinated in gochujang and soy sauce. It's so good and is the perfect match to grilled meat and rice for example.

Creamy red lentil dal

Daal is a well know Indian dish, bengali to be exact. It comes in 1001 variations, this one is a red lentil dal. I didn't have any garam massala on hand so I made my own and put the recipe down below.

Cucumber raita, Indian cooling yogurt sauce

Raita is an indian yogurt sauce, often served as a side with spicy dish to cool the palate. It's basically yogurt with a lot of herbs and spices, it's so refreshing. I made it with cucumber today but if it's out of seaso, you can also make a carrot raita.

Fall wheat salad with cranberries, cashews and kale
