Homemade teriyaki sauce

A good homemade teriyaki sauce recipe to mix with all your favorite meals. We ate it with some salmon but also with beef&onions, so so good. I’ll put the link of the recipe I made with this sauce later here!
Ingredients are quite simple and you can keep it in the fridge for 4-5 days in a jar. The more you wait, the thicker it will get so if needed thin it out with a little bit of water but using after refrigerating.
Homemade teriyaki sauce:
- 60ml (1/4 cup) soy sauce
- 60ml (1/4 cup) water
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp minced ginger
Grate the garlic glove.
Dilute the cornstarch in a little bit of water planned for the sauce.
Mix all the ingredients in a sauce pan.
Heat gently while stirring often.
Once boiling, turn the heat off and transfer to a bowl to cool. It might look too thin but it will thicken as it cools.
Enjoy!
