Prosciutto wrapped asparagus
Roasted asparagus are my favorite things, ever. Wrapped in a deliciously thin slice of prosciutto, it's even better. A little trip to the oven and you get a soft asparagus with a cripsy outside layer of prosciutto. It's so good.
It's perfect as an appetizer or as a side dish ! You obviously have to eat it with your fingers. You could use another type of cured ham but take something very thinly slices so you can wrap it around the asparagus.
I'm so happy it's finally asparagus season and the season of all Spring produce I love so much. What do you like to make in Spring ?
Prosciutto wrapped asparagus (12 pieces) :
- 12 asparagus
- 12 thin prosciutto slices
Preheat the oven at 200°C/400°F.
Chop the tough ends of the asparagus and clean them.
Wrap a slice of prosciutto around the asparagus, just below the tip.
Put them on a baking sheet, covered with parchment paper.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip them halfway through cooking.
