Caramelized pork belly

Spring is here and the need to BBQ is real. If, like me, you live in an appartment, this recipe does the trick quite well. Thick pork belly slices caramelized and broiled in the oven, served with a salad and roasted potatoes.

Provence style beef stew

A slow cooked dish that is low maintenance, you know me, I love this. A boneless beef shank in a rich, thick tomato sauce with a few olives, herbs and pearl onions (because they're fun but feel free to use yellow onion if you can't find any).

Beef kofta naanwich

What's a naanwich, you may ask? It's just a sandwich but instead of crispy bread, you use a naan. Here I filled it with spiced beef kofta and a tangy yogurt sauce. Dinner done!

Leek au gratin

This is comfort food in my books. We usually make this with endives in France but they're bitter and it's way better with leeks in my opinion. Homemade bechamel sauce, ham and leeks. Oh and don't forget the generous amount of cheese to give it a nice crust.

Potato and bacon quiche

Here's to one more quiche recipe. Took me two tries to get the perfect recipe for this one. The potatoes are super tender, bacon is crispy and the quiche batter is very very fluffy. Anyway, it's a quick and delicious recipe to make for diner with a salad.
