Potatoes röstis

One day I’ll be rigorous with this blog but it is apparently not today. I’m working on it. [http://content.content.travel-and-food.com/content/images/2015/11/DSC_0212.jpg] Well, I know. This is far too easy of a recipe to appear on a « food blog » BUT it is a good recipe for a brunch or to serve as a side dish of meat. That’s how I remembered it, while improvising a brunch for my husband and I. [http://content.content.travel-and-food.com/content/images/2015/11/DSC_0217.jpg] You know, the

Banana and almond yogurt cake

Cold weather is back but I am not complaining here, I love Autumn. It’s not too hot but not too cold and the colors are beautiful outside. Plus, in a week and a half, I’ll be enjoying summer on an island. I have no right to complain. (But if those people that are fixing our roof could be a little less LOUD, that would be perfect. Shakshuka

It’s back to school season and we have all set our goals for this new year, haven’t we? While you will be in pain with the cold, w

Sardines' rougail

If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know by now that my husband is from the Reunion Island. If not, now you know. This is a typical dish that you can eat there. It is very simple, spicy and delicious. Really, you can’t go wrong with this one. The recipe asked for canned sardines so that is what I used but you can definitely use some fresh sardines too. Problems with fresh would be spines. I put a tiny bit of chili in my meal because you’re supposed to eat it with chili paste

2 ingredients banana oatmeal cookies (GF, DF, Vegan)

Let’s be honest. I’m far from being a vegetarian/vegan person. I love meat, cheese and everything that contain gluten. (I’m a bad person, uh?) BUT my super good friend wants to stop eating dairy and meat so I decided I’d try baking her some dairy free and vegan cookies. I found this recipe on Pinterest [https://www.pinterest.com/pin/556053885220403986/]. Those cookies are weirdos texture-wise. They taste nothing like a good old buttery cookie but they’re good. They’re actually very good. Plus,
